A leading, Texas-based commercial general contractor with over $750M in annual revenue and 500+ employees is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join their Corpus Christi team. This is a new role to support growth in the region. The company is 100% employee-owned and known for offering full lifecycle construction services across diverse project types.

The Superintendent will oversee all on-site construction operations, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, budget control, and quality delivery across a variety of commercial projects. You'll report directly to the President, help manage current builds, and eventually support project pursuits in the area.

The team works on:

  • Government and civic facilities (court offices, civic centers)
  • K-12 and higher education buildings
  • Healthcare and medical offices
  • Corporate offices, fire training facilities, and more

Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily site operations, subcontractor coordination, and scheduling
  • Maintain and enforce high safety standards
  • Implement quality control and cost management strategies
  • Drive schedule performance and Lean construction planning
  • Use tools like Procore and Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting

Requirements:

  • 712 years of superintendent experience in commercial construction
  • Background across varied project types
  • Hands-on leader willing to roll up their sleeves when needed
  • No degree required, but construction-related education is a plus
  • Base Salary: $110K$150K DOE
  • Annual Bonus: 410% depending on company performance
  • Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP): 30% return most recent year; no vesting
