Our client is a mid-sized General Contractor that has a strong background with institutional construction projects (healthcare, higher-ed, etc). They have a strong network of repeat business because of the results they deliver.
Job Description
Responsible for entire project as Superintendent in occupied renovation setting. Direct day-to-day on-site supervision of field labor force. Maintain good relationships with internal and external clients. Develop and maintain site logistics plan. Conduct quality inspections. Coordinate site testing and inspection efforts. Monitor costs, including labor time and material. Manage schedules, including preparation of detailed short-term schedules and ensuring all activities take place on or ahead of scheduled dates. Prepare and submit Superintendents Daily Reports. Attend and participate in project meetings, including subcontractor meetings.

The Successful Applicant
5+ years of healthcare construction experience in Florida (preferred). 10+ years of commercial construction experience as a superintendent leading projects (required). Strong employment tenure. Strong experience with ProCore or similar software. OSHA 10 or 30. Strong ability to read drawings and specifications. Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Exhibits strong leadership qualities. Strong decision making/problem solving skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
