Construction Superintendent High-End Custom Homes

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee the on-site execution of high-end custom home projects in the Beverly Hills area. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of hillside construction, high-end finishes, and complex architectural plans.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site construction activities from groundbreaking through final punch list.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel.
• Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and high-quality standards.
• Interpret and enforce construction drawings and documents with expert-level accuracy, including foundations, shoring, structural, framing, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
• Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and quality control documentation.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety, compliance, and craftsmanship.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and designers to resolve field issues.
• Uphold project timelines and budgets while maintaining exceptional build quality.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Superintendent on high-end custom residential projects.
• Proven expertise in hillside construction and complex site logistics.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, luxury finishes, framing, MEP systems, and structural details.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans with precision.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• OSHA certification and a clean driving record preferred.
• Experience with Los Angeles building codes.
• OSHA 30 and a construction management degree are a plus.
• Good attitude and client interaction skills (customer service-oriented).

Work Environment

The Construction Superintendent will operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment focused on the execution of high-end custom residential projects in Beverly Hills. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring a strong presence on the job site Monday through Friday, from 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM. The Superintendent will work under the direct supervision of the President of the company, receiving clear direction while also being entrusted with a high level of autonomy to manage day-to-day site operations. The role demands a proactive leader who can maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and craftsmanship while coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and design professionals. The work environment is collaborative and quality-driven, with a strong emphasis on communication, accountability, and attention to detail. Projects often involve complex hillside construction, intricate architectural details, and luxury finishes, requiring a Superintendent who thrives in a hands-on, detail-oriented setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Los Angeles, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80,000.00 - $120,000.00/yr.
