Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to oversee Tenant Improvement (TI) projects within healthcare facilities across the DFW area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare construction, a deep understanding of infection control protocols, and a proven ability to manage fast-paced, occupied-site renovations with minimal disruption to ongoing operations. Responsibilities
Supervise on-site construction activities for healthcare TI projects from start to finish. Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and quality execution. Enforce safety protocols and infection control measures in compliance with healthcare regulations. Maintain daily logs, schedules, and progress reports. Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and project managers. Ensure all work complies with local building codes, ADA, and healthcare-specific standards such as ASHE and ICRA. Essential Skills
5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, with at least 2 years in healthcare TI. Strong knowledge of healthcare construction standards and infection control procedures. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. OSHA 30 certification required. Additional Skills & Qualifications
ASHE or CHC certification is a plus. Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore and PlanGrid. Work Environment
The role is primarily onsite, requiring direct supervision of construction activities within healthcare facilities. It involves working in a fast-paced environment where adherence to strict safety and infection control protocols is paramount. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
