Job Summary
We are seeking a Swimming Pool Construction Field Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support worksite operations through manual labor tasks. Responsibilities
We are looking for skilled, reliable laborers with a strong work ethic who are eager to learn the unique construction process for building swimming pools.
- Assist with site layout, measurement, excavation, plumbing, backfilling, forming, steel tying, concrete placement, rigging, and installation
- Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks
- Transport materials and equipment from one location to another
- Safely operate a variety of tools, including pressure washers, jackhammers, drills, saws, grinders, and various hand tools
- Construct, transfer, and tear down temporary structures such as scaffolding
- Other manual labor tasks as required by the foreman or supervisor
- Follow all safety regulations
- Maintain a clean work environment by picking up trash, excess building materials, or other potentially hazardous products
Qualifications
- Prefer prior experience in swimming pool construction, plumbing, electrical or related.
- Additional certifications or apprenticeship experience is preferred but not necessary
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects, digging, and standing for long periods
- Knowledge of power tools and industrial machinery is preferred
- Prompt and punctual attendance to the shop is required
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Must have a valid drivers license in good standing with no serious traffic violations
- Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
