We are partnering with a civil construction company that is looking to add a Technical Training Manger to their team!
Technical Training Manager
Direct Hire
Pay: $75,000-$100,000
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
Responsibilities:
*Design, develop, and implement comprehensive technical training programs tailored to the needs of our civil
construction projects.
*Conduct training needs assessments to identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed within the
organization.
*Create and update training materials, manuals, and presentations that align with industry standards and company
objectives.
*Monitor and evaluate training programs for effectiveness, making necessary adjustments to improve learning
outcomes.
*Ensure all training programs comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and safety requirements.
*Leverage technology and e-learning platforms to enhance the delivery and accessibility of training programs.
*Work closely with project managers, engineers, and HR to align training initiatives with company goals and project
demands.
*Maintain accurate records of training activities, certifications, and employee progress.
*Develop and manage the training budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
Requirements:
*Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Education, or a related field equivalent work
experience is preferred.
*Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical training within the construction industry, with a strong
understanding of civil construction processes and at least 2 years in a training or instructional role.
*Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with learning management systems (LMS).
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
*Relevant certifications in training and development, such as CPTD (Certified Professional in Training and
Development), are preferred
