Transportation Construction Inspector Felsburg Holt & Ullevig is seeking a transportation construction inspector to join our Construction Practice Group in our Greenwood Village, CO or Fort Collins, CO office. The primary function of this paraprofessional position is to work on transportation construction jobsites performing construction contract administration, observation, inspection, and documentation. Responsibilities: Works primarily on roadway construction project sites under the supervision of a Project Engineer to provide quality assurance and project control for our project owner clients. Inspects transportation project construction work, including paving, structures, storm drainage systems, traffic control and other work, to verify conformity of the work with the contract documents. Monitors and documents the progress of construction and quantities of work. Understands materials testing programs and procedures and coordinates testing performed by others with the construction. Performs field measurements of work completed and documents for payment. Performs quality control and checks calculations performed by others. Performs shift, night and weekend work when required. Climbs ladders, navigates construction sites, works at heights and in confined spaces. Lifts and carries up to 50 lbs
