My client is seeking a Senior Traveling Superintendent to lead large-scale, mission-critical construction projects across the U.S., each valued at $100 million or more. This role is ideal for a driven and seasoned leader who thrives in high-stakes environments and has a proven track record delivering complex builds-on time, on budget, and with zero compromise on quality or safety.
Job Description Serve as the on-site lead for all construction activities on large-scale mission-critical projects (e.g., data centers, pharmaceutical plants, cleanrooms, high-tech manufacturing). Manage field operations from groundbreaking through final commissioning. Collaborate closely with project managers, owners, engineers, subcontractors, and safety teams. Enforce high standards for safety, quality control, and schedule adherence. Drive daily site coordination, manage look-ahead schedules, and lead subcontractor meetings. Oversee compliance with all building codes, permits, and regulations. The Successful Applicant 10+ years of experience in commercial construction with at least 5 years in a superintendent role. Proven success managing $100M+ projects in the mission-critical or industrial sectors. Willingness and availability to travel nationwide on a rotating or long-term project basis. Expertise in managing schedules (Primavera P6, MS Project), safety programs (OSHA 30 required), and field coordination. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
