Description
The Superintendent will be responsible for managing the daily onsite operations of large-scale, ground-up airplane hangar construction projects across multiple locations. This traveling role requires a hands-on leader who can coordinate field crews, manage subcontractors, and ensure the safe, timely, and high-quality execution of complex builds. Working closely with a seasoned project management team, this individual will be the go-to authority on-site-maintaining schedules, resolving field challenges, and upholding construction standards. Key Responsibilities Include:
Manage daily site operations, including subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and quality control
Enforce job site safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the project team on schedule, budget, and milestones
Interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications; ensure field execution aligns with plans
Identify and resolve field issues in real-time with a solution-oriented mindset
Conduct daily site walks and progress meetings with subcontractors and internal stakeholders
Coordinate inspections with city officials and third-party consultants
Maintain all on-site records, including logs, reports, and as-built documentation
Provide leadership, mentorship, and accountability to all field personnel
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to keep projects on track and deliver exceptional results
Assist in forecasting project risks and proactively mitigate potential delays or cost impacts

Profile
In return for a competitive compensation package, the ideal candidate will possess the following:
7+ years of experience in ground-up commercial and/or multifamily construction - essential
Proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget - essential
Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills - essential
Ability to work onsite daily at active job sites throughout the Greater Houston area - essential
Deep understanding of safety regulations, construction methods, and scheduling software - preferred
Job Offer
Base salary between $130,000 and $145,000, depending on experience
Performance-based bonus structure, with details to be discussed during the hiring process
