Traveling Superintendent

We are seeking a Traveling Superintendent who can manage multiple construction projects of varying sizes simultaneously. This role requires assisting project teams in producing and executing project schedules with clearly defined milestones and critical paths, while coordinating effectively with all project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously within construction settings.
  • Assist project teams to produce and execute project schedules with milestones and critical paths.
  • Communicate precisely with team members, owners, and architects.
  • Attend and participate in weekly progress team meetings.
  • Execute punchlist completion according to the project schedule and customer expectations.
  • Read and comprehend project drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure all trades have up-to-date drawings on site.
  • Complete daily logs and document with pictures.
  • Follow organizational processes, reporting, and risk mitigation measures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of direct construction experience in a supervisory role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

  • Capable of initiating and coordinating activities independently.
  • Team-oriented and flexible in assuming new responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software, including Word, Excel, and Project.

Work Environment

This position is based on the project site, working from a job trailer to manage subcontractors and the project schedule. You will be an integral part of the team, ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
