A law firm seeks a Trial Attorney specializing in personal injury cases in Wichita, KS. The role involves managing a high-volume caseload, engaging with clients, and advocating in trials. The attorney will be responsible for guiding cases from intake through settlement or jury verdict. Duties Manage approximately 150 cases, with around 50 actively in litigation each month. Maintain proactive and transparent communication with clients. Conduct depositions, draft and respond to motions, and lead mediations. Serve as lead counsel in jury trials, advocating for favorable outcomes. Requirements Minimum of 3 years practicing personal injury or civil litigation; 5-8 years preferred. Active and in good standing with the local State Bar; multiple state bar admissions preferred. Extensive jury trial experience with at least 5+ first chair trial verdicts; 10+ preferred. Exceptional communication skills to articulate case strategies effectively. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in the state of Kansas. Skills Strong legal acumen and understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence. Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently. Proficient in client engagement and case strategy development. Dedicated office space with support from a case manager and paralegal.
