We are seeking a skilled and experienced Underground Utility Construction Foreman for overseeing and coordinating the work of a crew or team on a job site. This role ensures that projects are completed safely, on time, and according to specifications. The Foreman acts as a liaison between workers and management, ensuring smooth communication and efficient workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers on-site.
Interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans to ensure proper execution.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Monitor work progress and quality, adjusting as needed.
Train and mentor crew members, providing guidance and support.
Maintain records of work hours, materials used, and project milestones.
Communicate with superintendents, project managers, city inspectors, and other stakeholders.
Order materials and schedule equipment as needed.
Resolve conflicts and troubleshoot issues that arise on-site.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in construction supervision as a Foreman in a relevant field.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to speak English is required. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and building codes.
Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
Clean driving record
