Position Summary: The Vice President of Regional Operations is responsible for the strategic direction, operational execution, financial performance, and team leadership across all construction projects within the assigned region. This role ensures project excellence, client satisfaction, and alignment with company values and business goals. Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Leadership Develop and implement regional business plans aligned with company objectives Identify market trends, risks, and growth opportunities Lead forecasting, budgeting, and resource planning Represent the region in executive leadership discussions 2. Operational Oversight Manage all phases of project delivery, from preconstruction to closeout and warranty Ensure excellence in execution, cost control, safety, scheduling, and quality Track KPIs and lead resolution of performance issues Oversee escalation and risk management on complex projects 3. Financial Management Full P&L ownership for the region Drive revenue, margin, and cash flow targets Approve significant budgets and capital expenditures 4. Client & Business Development Build and maintain key client and partner relationships Support business development efforts and major pursuits Represent the region in project proposals, interviews, and negotiations 5. Leadership & Talent Development Lead and mentor project executives, superintendents, and preconstruction staff Conduct performance evaluations and support career development Foster a culture of safety, accountability, innovation, and collaboration 6. Risk & Compliance Ensure compliance with internal policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements Identify and mitigate contractual, financial, and operational risks Participate in incident reviews and corrective action planning Background Profile: Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA ) 15+ years in the construction industry, including 5+ in executive or senior leadership Proven ability to lead large-scale projects and multidisciplinary teams Strong business, financial, and operational acumen Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills Key Success Metrics: Regional profitability and revenue growth Client satisfaction and repeat business Schedule and budget adherence across projects Safety performance (TRIR/EMR) Employee retention and leadership development Market share and new project wins #J-18808-Ljbffr
