About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Service Construction to lead and grow our electrical service division in Austin, TX. This executive-level role is ideal for a strategic leader with a strong background in electrical project management, 24/7 service operations, and business development.
Key Responsibilities
Division Leadership: Oversee all aspects of the service construction division, including operations, staffing, budgeting, and strategic planning.
Project Management: Lead and support complex electrical construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and profitability.
24/7 Service Department Oversight: Manage a high-performing, around-the-clock service team, ensuring rapid response and customer satisfaction.
Sales & Client Development: Drive business development efforts, build client relationships, and identify new revenue opportunities in the service market.
Cost-to-Complete Forecasting: Implement and maintain accurate cost-to-complete projections and financial reporting for all service projects.
Team Development: Mentor and develop project managers, service technicians, and support staff to ensure operational excellence and career growth.
Qualifications
Minimum 10+ years of experience in the electrical construction industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or division manager role.
Proven track record managing 24/7 service departments and delivering high-quality electrical solutions under tight deadlines.
Strong background in project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Demonstrated success in sales and client relationship management within the construction or electrical services sector.
Expertise in cost-to-complete forecasting and financial oversight of service projects.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.
