Vice President - Steel Construction About the Company Well-regarded provider of pre-engineered metal building solutions Industry Construction Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a Vice President of Operations to spearhead its strategic growth, operational excellence, and financial performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project management, supporting sales, engineering, and construction teams, and fostering a culture of collaboration, safety, and client-centric service. This leadership role demands a focus on driving innovation, ensuring project delivery, and aligning operations with the company's vision for growth in the industry.
Applicants for the Vice President of Operations position at the company should hold a Bachelors degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 8-10 years' experience in construction, including at least 5 years in PEMB leadership. A deep knowledge of PEMB design, fabrication, and construction is essential, as is a strong financial acumen with budget and P&L experience. The role requires exceptional leadership and communication skills, proficiency in project management software and ERP systems, and a proven track record in process improvement and technology implementation. An MBA or advanced degree, experience in the Southwest construction market, knowledge of sustainable building practices, and an established network of industry contacts are all considered advantageous.
