Position Summary
Telecom Construction Manager, overseeing construction schedules, expenses, quality, and safety. You'll manage direct reporting staff, matrix staff, and vendor/subcontractor resources.
Details
- Location: Field position; managing CX in Goochland & Charlottesville, VA
- Not reporting to an office! (Remote* when not in field)
- Hours: MF, ~ +/-8am-5pm (flexible start as early as 6:30 a.m.)
- Term: Long-term project, open-ended, ~ 6+ months
- Pay: ~ $45/hr (W2) + benefits!
- Minimal overtime expected
- No travel required
- Maintain and enforce safety programs; ensure daily job site safety plans are reviewed and followed
- Provide on-site analysis of ongoing projects, consulting higher-level managers for advice
- Interface with client's engineering team and utilize company resources for decision-making
- Implement quality programs for company and subcontractor work to meet customer specifications
- 5-7 years of industry experience
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Engineering or technical degree preferred
