About Our Client
The employer is a small-sized, 2nd generation family owned general contractor in the construction industry.
Job Description
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Manage payroll for upwards of 50 employees
- Manage the Wisconsin sales and income taxes
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts for the organization.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance financial processes and reporting.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team.
- Assist in audit preparation and liaise with external auditors as needed.

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, or relevant experience
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Management experience
- Experience completing payroll
- Experience working on Wisconsin sales and income taxes
