Position would require the candidate to be a W2 employee of Donatech.
US Citizenship Required.

- Prepare and review detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including hard bids, negotiated bids, and design-build projects
- Analyze and review project plans, specifications, and contracts to identify potential cost risks and opportunities
- Develop and maintain detailed estimates of construction costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs
- Conduct site visits and meetings with project stakeholders to gather information and validate estimates
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and architects, to ensure estimates are accurate and complete
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry trends
- Stay up-to-date with market conditions, including material prices, labor rates, and subcontractor availability
- Provide expert advice and guidance on cost-related matters, including value engineering, cost savings opportunities, and risk management
- Develop and maintain estimating databases, spreadsheets, and other tools to support the estimating process
- Participate in bid reviews, scope reviews, and other project meetings to ensure estimates are accurate and complete
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and other industry partners to stay informed about market conditions and best practices

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or Certified Cost Estimator (CCE) designation
Minimum 5 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in a similar industry or sector
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry trends
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy and completeness of estimates
Proficiency in estimating software, including Excel, Timberline, or similar programs
Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
Additional certifications, such as LEED AP or PMP
Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and other digital construction technologies
Knowledge of industry-specific software, such as Procore or PlanGrid
Experience working on large-scale construction projects, including commercial, industrial, or government projects
