About Our Client
Our client is a well-established, reputable general contractor specializing in commercial and institutional construction throughout New Jersey and the surrounding region. Job Description
- Schedule Management: Oversee daily site operations and ensure work progresses according to plans and specifications
- Documentation: Maintain daily reports, construction logs, and RFIs with strong written communication. Take daily progress photos. Read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings
- Team Leadership: Coordinate subcontractor activities and ensure trade alignment
- Schedule Management: Provide updates to CPM scheduling consultants and assist in schedule tracking
- Safety Compliance: Conduct toolbox talks and enforce jobsite safety practices
- Quality Control: Ensure adherence to quality assurance and control standards
- Team Leadership: Professionally interact with clients, subcontractors, and union representatives

The Successful Applicant
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in commercial construction, preferably with public sector and healthcare project experience
- Ability to read and understand complex contract documents and blueprints
- Proficient in written correspondence and experienced in construction documentation
- Familiarity with CPM schedules and Microsoft Excel
- Background in masonry or carpentry is highly preferred
- Strong leadership, coordination, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and site enforcement
