Position: Construction Assistant
Department: Construction
FLSA : Non-Exempt
Location: 2240 N. Broadway, Moore, Oklahoma 73160, Newcastle, Norman and various locations (indoor and outdoor)
Hours: Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm
General Purpose: To assist the superintendent with construction, maintenance, and lawn maintenance activities.
Supervision Received: Works under the direct supervision of the Superintendent/Builder/Construction Manager.
Supervision Exercised: None
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Maintain landscaping, yards, shrubs, trees, and watering sod. * Help maintain clean streets and gutters. * Perform minor touch ups and some activities on punch-list. * Responsible for the level of quality in product * Comprehend the process of residential construction and use common knowledge * Walk every room of every house, every day * Ability to deliver houses in the allowed time as set forth by contracts * Keep signs upright and orderly * Communicate with sub-contractors * Lock and unlock doors daily * Present recommendations to Builder and Superintendent * Attend all staff meetings * Any other duties assigned * Safety sensitive position
