Job Description

Construction Estimator - Manhattan, NY

• Prepare detailed estimates and budgets for ground-up and interior fit-out commercial projects
• Perform accurate quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, and scope reviews
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate pricing
• Analyze subcontractor bids and identify value-engineering opportunities
• Assist in developing bid strategies and participate in client presentations when needed
• Maintain historical cost data and continuously refine internal pricing tools

• 2-6 years of estimating experience in commercial construction (ground-up and/or interiors)
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, Sage Estimating, or similar)
• Strong understanding of commercial construction means and methods
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
