Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on project specifications, drawings, and specifications.
Analyze project plans and specifications to understand the scope of work involved for accurate bidding.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather and verify information for cost estimation.
Evaluate and track project costs throughout the construction phase to manage budget expenditures effectively.
Perform value engineering assessments to identify cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
Prepare and present comprehensive bid proposals to clients and stakeholders.
Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and construction techniques to provide the most accurate estimates.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field .
Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction estimating or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost estimation techniques.
Proficiency in estimating software and tools, such as Timberline, Sage, or similar.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
