We are a well-established concrete contracting company with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects across the water and wastewater treatment sector. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team and play a key role in securing and pricing upcoming projects.
As our Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for concrete works, with a focus on water and wastewater treatment facilities. You will work closely with our project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure costings are both commercially viable and technically sound.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents to produce detailed and accurate cost estimates. Prepare material, labour, and equipment schedules. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing. Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options. Work collaboratively with the project team to ensure tenders meet client requirements and company objectives.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Estimator within the concrete construction industry. Knowledge and experience of water and wastewater treatment projects is highly desirable. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost structures. Excellent numerical skills with great attention to detail. Strong communication and negotiation abilities. Proficient in estimating software and MS Office.
