Job Title: Estimator Commercial Construction Location: Temecula, CA Salary: $110,000 $150,000 (DOE) Employment Type: Full-Time About Us: We are a well-established General Contractor based in Temecula, CA, specializing in retail, restaurant, and commercial construction projects across Southern California. Known for our quality craftsmanship, dependable project delivery, and long-term client relationships, we are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join our growing team. The Role: As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in the pre-construction process by preparing accurate and competitive project bids. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong knowledge of the commercial construction industry, especially in retail and restaurant build-outs. Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects from conceptual through final design. Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. Develop bid packages and solicit pricing from subcontractors and suppliers. Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment on scope and budget. Attend job walks, pre-bid meetings, and conduct site investigations as necessary. Identify cost-saving opportunities and potential project risks. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience estimating retail, restaurant, or commercial construction projects . Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, and budgeting. Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, ProEst, or similar). Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings. Familiarity with local construction costs and subcontractor market in Southern California. What We Offer: Competitive salary range of $110,000 $150,000 , based on experience.
