Your Mission
You will take full ownership of projects— from pre-construction planning to final punch list —acting as both Project Manager and Superintendent . You’ll be on-site and off-site , managing the build, overseeing subcontractors, ensuring quality, and solving problems before they show up.

Minimum Qualifications
5- 10+ years of hands-on field and/or PM experience
OSHA 30 Certification (or willing to obtain)
Comfortable with site layout, permitting, inspections, and punch-out
Knows the complete sequential construction process from start to finish.
Proven ability to manage multiple trades and timelines without constant oversight
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Strong technology skills: BuilderTrend, Procore, Microsoft Project, or equivalent
Bonus Points For
Experience on military bases or Corps of Engineers projects
Government contracting background (QCM, EM 385-1-1 familiarity)
General Contractor’s License (or pursuing)
Previous experience with design-build firms or luxury custom home builders

Compensation:
$60,000 - $90,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
For Construction Project Manager / Superintendent – SEGC
Project Ownership & Oversight
Take full ownership of assigned construction projects from start to final closeout.
Manage and track progress on residential, commercial, and government builds.
Be accountable for the entire job , including quality, budget adherence, timeline, and client satisfaction.
Serve as the lead point of contact for internal team, subs, inspectors, and clients.
Pre-Construction Preparation
Review construction documents and plan sets (civil, structural, architectural, MEP).
Walk sites with the design team to identify early challenges or missing details.
Coordinate and verify permitting, utility connections, site access, and pre-construction layout.
Lead or assist in subcontractor buyout, scope clarification, and schedule setup.
Jobsite Supervision
Supervise all day-to-day field operations, including subcontractor coordination, inspections, and deliveries.
Ensure all trades are sequenced, informed, and executing according to plan and schedule.
Walk job sites daily to verify craftsmanship, site cleanliness, safety, and material readiness.
Resolve issues proactively without deferring problems to office staff.
Keep daily job site logs, daily video & photo updates.
Capture drone video & photo footage of job process at each of the stages of construction.
Quality Control & Inspections
Implement and enforce SEGC’s internal QA/QC process at every phase of the build.
Prepare for and pass local and federal inspections (city, county, Corps of Engineers, etc.).
Check all framing, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and finishes before subs move to next phases.
Build with the punch list in mind—minimize callbacks and post-construction delays.
Scheduling & Documentation
Develop and maintain project schedules using Builder Trend , Microsoft Project or equivalent.
Update tasks and milestones weekly; communicate delays and recovery strategies clearly.
Use BuilderTrend (or project management software) to log daily progress and upload job photos.
Keep digital records of deliveries, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and inspection reports.
Client & Stakeholder Communication
Conduct milestone site visits and walkthroughs with clients at designated intervals.
Proactively communicate updates, timelines, and challenges with clarity and confidence.
Manage expectations, reinforce SEGC’s process, and protect client satisfaction.
Represent SEGC with professionalism at all times on every job site.
Team Coordination & Leadership
Hold subcontractors and labor accountable to timelines, cleanliness, and workmanship.
Collaborate with internal team: estimators, procurement, design, and owner to ensure aligned execution.
Train and mentor junior team members or interns if assigned to your site.
Step in to assist teammates on other jobs when bandwidth allows.
Material Management & Procurement
Work with procurement staff to verify accurate and timely material deliveries.
Inspect all materials on arrival for damage or accuracy.
Ensure materials are stored securely and efficiently on site.
Notify office of missing or delayed items with urgency—no surprises.
Proactive Problem-Solving
Identify schedule risks, scope gaps, trade conflicts, or design issues before they happen .
Solve issues on-site or coordinate with architects/engineers before escalation is needed.
Provide suggestions for value-engineering, material alternatives, or schedule improvements.
Operate with a “ you’ll never be blindsided ” mentality toward leadership and clients.
Continuous Learning & Personal Development
Commit to weekly personal growth through books, podcasts, online training, or construction leadership materials.
Stay updated on code changes, building science, and industry best practices.
Bring innovative tools, processes, or insights back to the team to improve SEGC performance.
Qualifications:
Physically capable of using heavy equipment and lifting at least 40 pounds
Possesses a deep understanding of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, permits, construction equipment, material resources, project management principles, and construction methods
Completed training for OSHA 30 license and firm adherence to safety protocols on the job-site
Superb organizational, leadership, time-management, and communication skills
