Job Description

  • Oversee stick-over-podium construction from foundation through vertical build.
  • Project experience (150 Units - $40M)
  • Manage and coordinate general contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and inspectors.
  • Track project budgets, schedules, and change orders; ensure delivery within scope, time, and cost.
  • Enforce safety protocols, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Facilitate communication between internal teams (development, finance, asset management), external partners, and local authorities.
  • Drive continuous improvement in construction processes and project delivery.

The Successful Applicant

  • 7+ years of construction management with proven experience on multi-family podium-stacked projects (stick frame over concrete podium).
  • Led delivery of projects ? $40 million in total value.
  • Strong familiarity with IBC Type III/V over Type I podium systems and related code/regulations.
  • Skilled in scheduling tools (e.g. MS Project, Procore), budgeting, cost controls, and reporting.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills-able to guide teams with clarity and accountability.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related; preferred but not mandatory if accompanied by strong field experience.
