Construction Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and coordinate activities in fields such as engineering, research and development, financial systems, and product rollout. The ideal candidate will specialize in power sub-station projects and possess a strong background in general construction management.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate projects by making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
  • Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
  • Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
  • Analyze technology resource needs and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
  • Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
  • Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.

Essential Skills

  • Specialization in power sub-station projects.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively.
  • Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
  • Proficiency in computer software such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and Visio.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • PMI or PMP certification preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in project management, construction, and construction management.
  • Experience with data center construction.
  • Familiarity with ProCore software.

Work Environment

This position is based in San Jose, with a hybrid work schedule involving two days onsite.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $97.00 - $107.00/hr.
