Our commercial general contractor client was just awarded a "Top Place To Work" in 2025. Immediate opening for an experienced construction superintendent to oversee commercial ground-up construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of proven experience managing the day-to-day field operations of new commercial builds, including site logistics, subcontractor coordination, and quality/safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all on-site construction activities for commercial ground-up projects. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and laborers. Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, building codes, and safety regulations. Develop and maintain construction schedules, tracking progress to meet project deadlines. Conduct regular site meetings and provide updates to project managers and stakeholders. Oversee site safety, ensuring all personnel comply with OSHA and company safety policies. Perform daily site inspections to maintain quality control and resolve field issues. Review and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications. Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and city officials. Maintain accurate site documentation including daily reports, RFIs, and change orders.
Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of superintendent experience in commercial ground-up construction (retail, office, healthcare, education, etc.). Deep understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and budgeting. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Proficient in project management software, Microsoft Office, and scheduling tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar). OSHA 30 certification preferred.
Compensation: Competitive salary ranging from $110K - $150K Vehicle allowance of $800+ / month Excellent health, dental, and vision benefits Annual bonus % of salary 401K with a healthy company match
