Job Description

  • Assist the Site Superintendent in overseeing daily job site operations
  • Help coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and inspections
  • Monitor site safety, cleanliness, and quality control
  • Track progress against project schedules and report to the project team
  • Maintain daily logs and assist with site documentation
  • Troubleshoot site issues and communicate needs to the project manager or superintendent
  • Learn Norwood's quality and safety standards to uphold them on every job

The Successful Applicant

  • 1-3 years of experience in residential or multifamily construction (wood frame strongly preferred)
  • Familiarity with construction sites, tools, and basic building practices
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings is a plus
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills (Procore or similar construction software experience is a bonus)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Someone eager to learn, take initiative, and grow into a leadership role on-site.
