Job Description The Development & Construction Department Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the logistical and administrative aspects of construction projects. The role supports the execution of new store construction, remodels, roll-outs & facility projects to ensure on-time schedules, within budget, and in compliance with regulations and safety standards. This involves coordinating schedules, managing vendors, participating in the creation & award of vendor proposals, procuring materials, tracking project finances, and maintaining communication among key project contacts and corporate stakeholders. Responsibilities include: Project planning and execution: coordinating schedules, managing vendors, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Communication: acting as a liaison between project management, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project flow. Documentation and record keeping: managing construction documentation, contracts, and other relevant paperwork. Financial tracking: monitoring all construction project finances, working with the Finance Department to release deposits and payments to vendors. Procurement: working with the project execution team to order and track delivery and installation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Issue resolution: assisting in identifying and resolving construction-related problems and discrepancies. Punch list management: managing development and closeout of punch lists, and tracking/reporting status to stakeholders. System platforms: working within Procore, Ecotrak, AutoCAD, Adobe, and MS Office software. Key personality traits: organized, self-motivated, supportive, thoughtful, multi-tasker. Works with: reports to the VP of Development and Construction, working alongside the Director of Design, Project Managers, Facilities Manager, Licensing Manager, and external partners. Requirements: 2-4 years of experience in a general contractor or architectural firm office. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe, and Microsoft Office or equivalent. Ability to travel to project locations as needed. Benefits: Salary: $50k-$70k depending on experience. Some remote work hours available. Dental, health, and vision insurance.
