Responsibilities

Deliver telecommunications based projects in construction, dark fiber, lit transport, Internet service, and fiber to the home from creation to final delivery. Ensure construction management teams are executing according to planned project timelines. Ensure internal and external customers are constantly updated on the status of their projects and delivery timelines. Schedule project deliverables with cross-functional teams and customers. Collaborate with others to create/streamline new/existing process to achieve efficient performance with internal and external partners. Work with cross-functional teams to retrieve updates and track projects and status. Maintain data integrity and ensure all project documentation is appropriately updated in data repositories. Perform general data mining when required. Learn and develop an understanding of all systems, tools, and processes (i.e., reporting, capacity, and ticketing tools, etc.) that support the workflow of projects. Suggest improvements. Ensure that all projects are correctly invoiced. Ensure projects are delivered on budget.

Qualifications

5 years experience with MS Office productspreferred Minimum 15 years combined experience in a OSP Construction, fiber network deployment, and project management. At least 10 years leading teams, with 5 years leading other at lower management levels. 5 years of Telecom project coordination experience preferred. 5 years experience with GIS system usage preferred. Experience with an enterprise project management software platform such as Microsoft Project. Excellent communication skills Must be able to demonstrate organizational leadership. Must be able to articulate your expertise and manage many fast-moving projects concurrently. Must be able to track and report on milestones, what milestones are at risk and why. Strong analytical and numerical skills Must be organized, detail-oriented and personable College degree in related field of Construction Management or Engineering
