Position Overview: Based in Tampa, FL, we are an established commercial electrical contractor with a 40+ year track record of success in our industry! We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee and manage all electrical facets of commercial construction projects, ensuring their successful and profitable completion. This role requires leadership in project execution, client relationship development, and effective coordination with internal teams and external contractors. Key Responsibilities: Project Oversight: Manage all electrical aspects of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Client & Contractor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with General Contractors and clients, fostering repeat business and driving new project opportunities. Sales & Proposal Development: Generate new business by engaging with General Contractors. Use software to prepare accurate project estimates and proposals for commercial construction projects. Collaborate with estimating teams to finalize proposals and ensure all details are addressed. Project Scheduling & Coordination: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of materials, equipment, and personnel. Oversee subcontractor scheduling and coordination to meet project milestones. Quality Control: Monitor on-site operations to ensure that all electrical work is executed to the highest quality standards. Address any issues that arise and implement corrective actions when necessary. Project Close-Out: Ensure that all projects are closed out properly, including documentation and any necessary follow-up tasks. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, but not required 5 - 7+ years of project management experience, ideally focusing on commercial electrical projects Relevant certifications in project management or electrical systems (e.g., PMP, OSHA, etc.) are a plus Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction practices, and industry standards Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong emphasis on budget control, schedule adherence, and quality Benefits: Competitive base salary ($115K - $150K) DOE Bonuses Company vehicle or allowance Fuel card for company-related fuel Medical, dental, and vision 401(K) and pension plan PTO and paid holidays Great company culture Strong pipeline of upcoming projects Much more!
