Project Manager Aviation Construction

Our client is a nationally recognized general contractor with nearly two decades of experience delivering high-profile aviation and mission-critical projects. Known for their precision, integrity, and hands-on approach, they've built a strong reputation across the U.S. for executing complex, schedule-driven construction. As they expand their aviation portfolio and national reach, they are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead major ground-up aviation developments. They have exclusively retained Michelle Rodriguez at Michael Page in Houston to appoint their next Project Manager hire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and execution of aviation projects from pre-construction through closeout
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and airport stakeholders to ensure all safety, quality, and schedule targets are met
• Ensure strict adherence to FAA/TSA regulations and airport-specific compliance standards
• Manage field operations and reporting, change orders, RFI tracking, and subcontractor performance
• Deliver progress updates to senior leadership and ensure alignment with client expectations
• Travel regularly to project sites across the country

The Successful Applicant:

• Minimum of 5+ years of well-tenured, hands-on experience in construction project management, specifically within aviation
• Proven success delivering complex aviation builds such as hangars, terminals, and ground-up infrastructure in active airport environments
• Deep understanding of FAA/TSA compliance, safety protocols, and the nuances of airside construction
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage field teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders effectively
• Excellent communication, documentation, and reporting abilities
• Travel readiness is essential, this role requires a consistent on-site presence across project locations in the U.S.
