Job Description

Serve as the primary on-site leader, overseeing all superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers. Develop and execute the project plan while tracking weekly progress and overall project health. Direct and coordinate all on-site construction activities to ensure smooth operations. Supervise labor and subcontractors to maintain high-quality work and on-time delivery. Foster and maintain strong working relationships with owners, design consultants, and project managers. Liaise with local inspectors and utility representatives to ensure full regulatory compliance. Enforce the site-specific Safety Program and manage the Quality Control process. Create and maintain detailed short-term schedules to align field activities with project goals. Oversee invoicing accuracy and support financial management of project costs. Address and resolve daily field challenges and issues as they arise. Produce daily reports documenting manpower, progress, and significant on-site activities.

The Successful Applicant

Over 7 years of experience working with a General Contractor. Proven track record in managing ground-up construction projects. Broad understanding of commercial construction across various project types. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred. Demonstrated ability to lead projects from pre-construction through closeout. Proficiency with construction software and emerging technologies is a strong advantage. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Strong time management abilities with a focus on meeting deadlines and maintaining quality. Experience supervising teams and coordinating multiple trades is highly desirable. Knowledgeable about current industry trends, market conditions, and innovative construction practices.
