Job Description
The Project Manager will be responsible for leading large-scale tilt wall construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring all phases are executed with precision, safety, and efficiency. This individual will coordinate closely with field teams, engineers, and subcontractors to manage budgets, schedules, procurement, and project documentation. With a deep understanding of tilt wall systems and their unique structural demands, the ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at problem-solving, and takes ownership of delivering complex builds on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities Include: Oversee all phases of tilt wall construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, architects, and engineers to ensure alignment and progress Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts Lead procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors Monitor project performance, proactively identify issues, and implement effective solutions Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and manage expectations Conduct project meetings and site walks to assess progress and resolve field issues in real-time Oversee project closeout process including punch lists, final inspections, and turnover documentation Apply today using the link provided and your resume will be considered within 48 hours of application. The Successful Applicant
In return for a competitive compensation package, the ideal candidate will possess the following: 7+ years of experience managing ground-up tilt wall and/or pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) construction projects - essential Proven track record of delivering complex structural projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards - essential Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills to manage multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors - essential Ability to work onsite daily at active job sites across the Greater Houston area - essential In-depth knowledge of tilt wall construction methods, PEMB systems, and sequencing - preferred Familiarity with construction safety standards, quality control practices, and scheduling software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera) - preferred Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field - preferred What's on Offer Base salary between $125,000 and $150,000, depending on experience Performance-based bonus structure, with details to be discussed during the hiring process Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and 401(k) Opportunity to lead large-scale, high-profile multifamily and commercial projects Chance to play a key role in a fast-growing, reputable general contractor with a strong project pipeline Collaborative, high-performance culture with clear growth and leadership opportunities
