Key Responsibiities for Project Superintendent - Public Works Construction in Los Angeles Metro Area Oversee daily on-site construction activities to ensure safety, schedule, and quality objectives are met.

Direct and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and field staff.

Enforce job site safety and maintain compliance with Cal/OSHA regulations.

Monitor and report on project progress, materials, and labor.

Coordinate with the Project Manager, foremen, and public agency representatives.

Maintain detailed documentation including daily reports, inspection logs, and RFI tracking.

Profile

A successful Project Superintendent - Public Works Construction in Los Angeles Metro Area 5+ years of superintendent experience in public works, preferably on school or DSA-regulated projects.

Deep knowledge of building and construction methods, scheduling, and safety standards.

Familiarity with DSA inspections, state building codes, and public contract requirements.

Proficient in reading blueprints, construction documents, and schedules.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

OSHA 30 Certification required; First Aid/CPR a plus.
