The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety within our organization. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe working environment, particularly on construction sites, and requires a strong understanding of Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) standards, as well as experience in risk management and workers' compensation.*Duties** Conduct regular safety inspections and audits on construction sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.* Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs that align with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards.* Provide training and guidance to employees on safe work practices and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).* Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety measures into construction management processes.* Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes, implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.* Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incident reports.* Stay updated on the latest safety regulations, industry trends, and best practices related to construction management.* Assist in the development of risk management strategies tailored to specific projects.*Qualifications** Proven experience as a Safety Officer or in a similar role within the construction industry.* Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and NEC standards.* Familiarity with construction management software and tools.* Excellent understanding of workers' compensation laws and risk management principles.* Ability to effectively communicate safety protocols to diverse teams.* Strong analytical skills for assessing risks and developing effective safety solutions.* Certification in Occupational Health and Safety or related field is preferred.* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.Join us in fostering a safe workplace where every employee can thrive!Job Type: Full-timePay: $53,694.00 - $79,709.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time offSchedule:* 8 hour shiftApplication Question(s):* Does the construction environment or talk offend / bother you?
