Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our team. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and assist with project cost tracking. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of construction accounting principles and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, journal entries, and account reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Track and analyze job costs, budgets, and project profitability Assist with variance analysis Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate financial tracking Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and GAAP Additional projects as needed Maintain Business licenses

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry Proficiency in construction ERP systems (e.g., Sage 300, Viewpoint, Procore). Experience with Vista/Viewpoint preferred Strong Excel skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and organizational abilities Self starter
