I am working with a well-established, growing residential construction company seeking a Senior Accountant About Us We specialize in building high-quality residential projects ranging from production style homes to large-scale communities. As our company continues to grow, we need an organized and detail-oriented accountant to help us maintain strong financial foundations. What You’ll **
Prepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Assist with job cost accounting, ensuring expenses are properly coded to projects. Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor statements. Support month-end and year-end closing activities. Assist with billing, lien waivers, and draws/progress payment applications. Maintain accurate records and help ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP. Provide support to the Controller and Project Managers as needed.
✅ What We’re Looking *
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2 years of accounting experience; construction accounting experience preferred. Familiarity with job costing and progress billing a plus. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
