Senior Recruiter — Engineering & Construction 

Location: Overland Park, Kansas

Position Overview

As a Senior Recruiter, you will lead the full recruitment lifecycle for key technical and project roles in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC). Your expertise will help us attract, engage, and retain top candidates who will power our projects and our company forward.

You will collaborate closely with hiring managers, develop strategic sourcing plans, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience—all while managing multiple requisitions in a dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of candidates.
  • Partner with hiring managers to craft detailed and compelling job descriptions.
  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for engineering and construction talent.
  • Utilize recruitment metrics to measure effectiveness and optimize processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and company policies.
  • Provide guidance on compensation and market trends.
  • Deliver a superior candidate experience and promote QISG’s employer brand.
  • Lead interview training and support hiring managers throughout selection.

Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience in engineering, construction, or related industries.
  • Understanding of power generation and EPC markets preferred.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment analytics tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications
  • HR certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP are a plus.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of U.S. labor laws and recruitment best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
