Experienced Construction Estimator needed for Steel Contractor doing structural and miscellaneous steel for various commercial and industrial projects, including high rise apartments, restaurants, RTD stations, and sports fields.

This is a Full Time Salaried position with benefits.
THIS IS AN IN-HOUSE POSITION, NOT A REMOTE POSITION
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze and compile cost data to ensure a high-quality bid
* Produce detailed bids using company specific format that clearly identifies project scope and includes accurate materials, shop and field labor
* Develop competitive bids using Tekla/PowerFabsoftware
* Review bids with project managers and perform project hand offs that conveys scope
Key Skills:
* Strong Computer skills with ability to use or learn Tekla/PowerFabsoftware
* Experience with structural steel and miscellaneous metals
* Fluent in both Architectural and Structural bid documents
* Highly organized with ability to communicate information in clear precise manner
* A person with the drive to build relationships and sell the job after the bid * Detail-oriented with solid time management skills * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Ability to work independently * Demonstrated ability to manage and balance multiple projects * Knowledge of AISC and AWS Standards
