Civil Engineering Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President of Construction Operations to oversee field operations, safety, and purchasing. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading operational organizations, supervising department heads, and ensuring a strong focus on safety and compliance. This role requires a proven track record in managing operations teams across various trades, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and process piping. The Vice President will also be tasked with operational oversight, including tracking KPIs, driving productivity, and implementing Lean Construction principles. Financial acumen is essential, with a deep understanding of business financials, budgeting, forecasting, and the ability to drive purchasing for the entire organization. Candidates for the Vice President of Construction Operations position at the company must have a minimum of 15 years' experience in a similar role, with a background in HVAC, purchasing, safety, and field operations. The role demands excellent leadership, coaching, and people management skills, as well as the ability to build and develop teams. Strong communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities are also required.
