The Vice President of Construction will play a pivotal role in leading our construction division, driving business development, and ensuring the successful execution of projects. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in project management and process improvement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all construction operations, managing profit and loss, and fostering a culture of excellence within the team.
Responsibilities Oversee and manage multiple commercial build-out projects from pre-construction through final completion. Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and general contractors to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction. Monitor budgets, job costs, and change orders, while ensuring all necessary permits, inspections, and compliance documentation are properly obtained and maintained. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance business development and growth opportunities. Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Cultivate strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to facilitate successful project outcomes. Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering professional growth and development.
Qualifications Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the construction industry. Strong skills in business development, strategic planning, and project management. Demonstrated ability to manage profit and loss effectively. Excellent supervisory skills with a focus on team leadership and development. Proficient in process improvement methodologies to enhance operational performance. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels. A results-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may substituted for formal education.

Pay: Up to $125,000.00 per year
