A growing fiber provider in the Salt Lake Valley is currently recruiting for a Vice President of Fiber. This is a hands-on executive leadership role responsible for the operations of our fiber construction team. The VP of Fiber will oversee our Construction operations, team development, and process optimization across two states, with more coming online soon. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership: Manage all phases of construction projects, from planning and design to execution and completion. Geographic Expansion: Build and scale teams across the Salt Lake Valley and surrounding markets. Team Leadership and Development: Lead, train, and mentor high-performing operations staff and subcontractor partners. Process & Systems: Design and implement systems, software, SOPs, and training to ensure efficiency, consistency, and compliance. Performance Management: Establish and monitor KPIs across safety, quality, build times, and cost per passing. Vendor & Third-Party Oversight: Recruit, vet, and manage third-party contractors. What You Bring 6 years of senior construction experience, ideally in fiber, telecom, or utilities. Deep understanding of fiber to the home deployment, OSP operations, and maintenance workflows. Experience managing field teams, subcontractors, and budgets across multiple states. Track record of implementing systems, training, and metrics that scale with growth. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and execution skills with a data-driven mindset. Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-accountability, growth-stage environment.
