We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting within our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction accounting, financial analysis, and team leadership. This role requires excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple accounting functions efficiently in a construction environment. **

Oversee daily accounting operations, including job cost accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance. Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and industry-specific accounting standards. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes for construction projects. Develop and implement financial controls, policies, and procedures specific to construction accounting. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and job cost analysis in collaboration with project managers and senior management. Monitor cash flow, project costs, and financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance. Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and bonding agents. Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations for project cost management. Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations related to the construction industry.
