Job Description

Manage and oversee all phases of ground-up construction projects ranging from $5M to $30M, ensuring timely and budget-conscious completion. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality control measures to meet client expectations and company standards. Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project coordination. Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and adherence to project timelines. Monitor on-site activities through regular visits, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and construction plans. Provide leadership and guidance to project engineers, superintendents, and other team members. Prepare and present project status reports to clients, senior management, and other stakeholders. Address and resolve project-related challenges, including design conflicts, delays, or unforeseen site conditions. Support the development and implementation of innovative construction techniques and processes. Foster a positive team environment and maintain strong client relationships to promote repeat business opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

Has 5-15 years of experience as a Project Manager with a General Contractor, demonstrating a proven track record of successful project delivery. Possesses a strong technical aptitude and a thorough understanding of construction processes and project management principles. Experienced in managing ground-up construction projects valued between $5M and $30M. Holds a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; alternatively, has 15+ years of relevant experience. Demonstrates excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to effectively manage teams and project stakeholders. Adapts well to a collaborative and entrepreneurial work environment, with a proactive problem-solving approach. Familiarity with diverse project types, including commercial, healthcare, multi-family, and light-industrial, is a plus. Motivated to grow within the company, contributing to a positive culture while achieving professional and financial goals.
